Junior Developer / Working Student
Do you want to do more than just learn in theory and gain real hands-on experience building digital products?
Then you might be a great fit for us.
At leapfrog, we build web-based software solutions, platforms, and digital products that we continuously improve and develop over time for our clients and users. We are currently working on demanding projects, especially in the areas of SaaS, platforms, and digital transaction processing.
To support this, we are looking for motivated junior developers or working students who are eager to contribute to real projects, take on responsibility, and grow both technically and professionally.
Your role
You will work alongside experienced developers on modern web applications and digital products. Depending on your experience and interests, you will have the opportunity to contribute to frontend, backend, and related technical topics.
What matters to us is that you do not just complete individual tasks, but also understand how strong digital products are built — from a technical, business, and user perspective.
Areas where you can gain experience
Frontend development with Vue.js / Nuxt
Backend development with PHP / Laravel
Building and integrating REST APIs and GraphQL
Working with databases and data models
Contributing to architecture, infrastructure, and deployment topics
Gaining insight into DevOps, CI/CD, and the technical operation of modern applications
Supporting product, feature, and release planning
Collaborating at the intersection of development, product, and design
What you should bring
Ideally, you are currently studying computer science or a comparable technical subject
Interest in modern web development and digital products
Initial practical experience with web technologies, personal projects, or other software projects
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and motivation to explore new topics
A structured way of working and the desire to build good solutions as part of a team
Good German language skills
What matters to us
You do not need to know everything yet.
What matters more to us is that you are motivated, eager to learn, and interested in building software the right way. We are not looking for a perfect checklist of technologies, but for people who are curious, think along, and want to grow step by step.
If you want to understand how frontend, backend, APIs, databases, deployment, and product thinking all connect, you will fit right in with us.
Our technical environment
Frontend: Vue.js, Nuxt.js, JavaScript / TypeScript

Why leapfrog?
Because with us, you will not just watch — you will contribute.
You will have the opportunity to work on real products and demanding applications, not just exercises or isolated side tasks. You will work in small teams, closely with experienced colleagues, and gain insight into modern development across the full stack.
We give you room to grow, ask questions, take on responsibility, and develop with your tasks. Good ideas are always welcome here, and we value people who are curious, think ahead, and enjoy building good software.
